Beholding The Bomer Booty

Although not the biggest fan of tumblr (it is sort of like on-line fast food, tons served but the quality and individuality is for the most part lacking). I am however a fan of anywhere that spotlights the assets of actor Matt Bomer. The aptly titled booty is simply that, a tumblr featuring the best of Bomer's butt. Thus far, there is little to no skin but hopefully Magic Mike will proved some long awaited new material.

Favorite Click of the Day: A Father's Reaction

The short piece is both inspiring and touching, yet somehow a little sad to me as Dave's reaction , though raw and natural, is often atypical for many. The piece however is so beautifully written that it packs a simple, yet powerful message.

Many of you might remember David Assett (above). David has been a FH contributor and was himself the subject of one of the blogs most popular posts last November during my day dedicated to the incredible beauty and talent in Hawaii.

Favorite Click Of The Day: David Vance Photographer

This small sampling of images represents some of what I love best about the work of David Vance. David's eye intrinsically seems know how to capture his subjects beautifully, tastefully and erotically. David gives specific attention to each detail, while at the same time, ensuring not to allow any particular one, to outshine the other.



Many artists create images that make you stop and take time to enjoy. David, through his use of detail, and his incredible use of pose, create images you want to return and enjoy over and over again.



I first saw these shot of Jake when David posted them earlier in the year and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to be able to share them. David began his own blog a few months back and I encourage you all to check it out. Unlike Model Mayhem or facebook, or even your own website, blogs provide the opportunity for creativity, with instant updates and easy posting without the restrictions often in place on social media sites. Favorite Click Of The Day: Hot & Busted

At one point or another most of us have had an unhealthy, yet often exciting fascination with a bad boy. Thanks to Brenton Parry, and his recent post on the subject, over at one of my favorite places to stop, Aussielicious I learned about an interesting site called Hot & Busted.



Now I don't think Hot & Busted is a place I will be visiting frequently, but it was a nice reminder of a brief period in my past. Not a time I wish to repeat mind you, but also a time I would not want to have missed. It totally changed how I look at life and cemented my refusal to have any type of cruelty in my life. We all know that no one can really change a bad boy, but...I have learned that most do change at some point, usually it is a matter of time. It is those years however, between the bad and that not quite so bad, one really has to try to avoid.

Gabriel Bermudez in Les mamelles de Tirésias

In the four plus years I have been working on FH I am not sure I have yet posted about an opera singer. I am not sure I ever thought I would... Although I am a huge fan of the Theatre, I admit that although I know a few Opera's (the big, mainstream shows) I never thought of the genre as source for material for the blog.

Then while visiting DC recently I was introduces to the Youtube clip of Maria Bayo and the incredible Spanish baritone Gabriel Bermudez. Although Gabriel shows off his body in first minute of the Youtube clip below, his voice is better showcased in various other clips including his performance in La Finta Giardinera

Through my research on Gabriel I came upon a blog, Barihunks, totally devoted to the amazing men of Opera. I had no idea there were so many to cover, but Bermudez is not the only Opera star to have performed naked on stage. Although the owner of Barihunks writes about many things, and does not just focus on skin, it was a great place to spend some time at and I encourage you all to check it out!

Favorite Click of the Day:

Granted I had a slight red wine buzz on after getting home from a Christmas party, but I pretty much laughed my way through the entire SNL last night. I love when old cast members show up for surprise appearances. Over at Nerve.com they have rated 92 featured performers from worst to best. Now I would have done it a little differently (most notably Nora Dunn would have been higher) but generally I agree with most of the list. If your a fan of SNL, it's a fun list to peruse.
